My name is Judy Carter and I’m a Certified Master Groomer with over 30 years of experience. I’ve owned and operated Pretty Pets in Alexandria, VA for 25 years. I’ve been coming to Colonial Beach since I was a child and in 2000 we decided to buy a cottage in town.

In 2010 we tore town our cottage and built a new house which included a small pet grooming shop attached to the garage. I started out only grooming part time, while in town over the weekends and building up clientele. We decided to sell our residence and shop in Alexandria in 2015 and are now full time residents of Colonial Beach. Since becoming full time residents, we’re now able to offer more hours, we’re open three days a week but still by appointment only.

I’m open Tuesday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm but can usually accommodate pets on other days if needed to fit  your schedule.
